Every outlet has a perspective. Click any source to see its political lean, factual accuracy, and what to watch out for.
Media bias doesn't mean a source is wrong — it means that outlet tends to cover certain stories more than others, frame issues in particular ways, or editorialize more than it reports. Almost every major outlet has some lean.
The ratings here draw from AllSides, Ad Fontes Media, and Media Bias/Fact Check — three independent organizations that analyze media bias. They don't always agree perfectly, and bias can shift over time, but the broad placements are widely accepted.
The best habit is to read across the spectrum. If the same story is covered the same way by outlets on both sides, it's probably accurate. If the framing differs sharply, that's your signal to dig deeper.
